<p>Mr. Fred Mains passed away at his residence, The Sunset Haven, Carnduff, SK. on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at the age of 95.</p> <p>Fred loved his family and they will miss him dearly. Fred was passionate about farming, gardening, playing cribbage at the Carievale Senior Centre, curling, and the SE Saskatchewan Surface Rights Association.</p> <p>Fred is survived by his four children: son, Lyndon (Lee) Mains and their children, Kiley (Shane) Sterling (Walker, Preston, and Blayke) and Brycen (Ashley) Mains (Dylan, Haylee, and Carsyn); daughter, Debbie Mains; son, Dan Mains; son, Terry (Donna) Mains and their children, Marna (Travis) Martin (Kale, Kenza, and Kolter), Jenna (Ryan) Rusk (Jensyn, Layden, Lawsyn, and Teagan), and Coby Mains (Jenna Fossum); sister, Eunice Jones; brother-in-law, Elso Romanzin; numerous nieces and nephews.</p> <p>He was predeceased by his wife, Lillian Mains (2013); sisters, Nellie Jameson and Coral Smith; numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.</p> <p>A small private family graveside service at the Workman Cemetery has taken place. A larger public service is being contemplated after restrictions lift.</p> <p>Donations in memory of Fred can be directed to the Sunset Haven Kitchen Fund, Box 250, Carnduff, SK. S0C 0S0.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong><em>A special thanks to everyone in the community that helped Fred live a full life while remaining independent in his home. </em></strong></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong><em>He had a colorful personality and lived his life to the fullest!</em></strong></p>
