Dave Lemke

Dave Lemke, 75, Town of Lawrence, passed away on Saturday October 31, 2015 after a lengthy illness. He was born March 8, 1940 to the late Elmer and Mabel Lemke. Dave served his country in the National Guard. On October 10, 1964 he was united in marriage to Bonnie Kittell. Dave worked for Hostess in De Pere for over 20 years as well as the Auto Auction in the Town of Lawrence. Dave was a volunteer Firefighter for the Town of Lawrence for 25 years. He enjoyed Sheepshead and watching the Packers. Dave is survived by his wife Bonnie, children: Alan (Megan) Lemke, Beth (Dan Kerkhoff) Vandermeulen, Jennifer (Paul) Diny, as well as his grandchildren: Shane (Friend Brittany) Lemke, Amanda (Fianc Jestin Demrath) Lemke, Dylan (friend Tasha) Vandermeulen, Zac, Ethan, Sawyer, and Abby Diny, as well as his great grandchildren Willow and Issac. Dave is further survived by his and Bonnie's siblings: Ann Nelson, Jim (Mary) Lemke, Don (Elaine) Kittell, and Greg (Lila) Roberts. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brother Bill Lemke, and brother in law Bill Nelson. Friends may call at St. John Lutheran Church 1700 Lost Dauphin Rd. De Pere after 9:00am Thursday November 5, 2015, until time of service at 12:00pm with Pastor John Czarnota officiating burial in Lawrence Cemetery.
