Lyndall Lou Ritchie

Lindy Ritchie, 82, of Nocona, passed away December 11, 2015 in Nocona. She was born Lyndall Lou Gallion to Ronald and Marian Lyndall (Lankford) Gallion in Tulsa, OK. Lindy was a very active volunteer and member in the community. She helped start the Nocona Public Library, the Carpenter Shop senior citizen's center, and Keep Nocona Beautiful. She was active in Epsilon Sigma Alpha and the Eastern Star, and she retired after two terms as Montague County Tax Assessor/ Collector. Lindy was also Nocona citizen of the year not once but twice. Lindy married Joe Berry Ritchie and had two children, Randy and Larry. Lindy was preceded in death by her husband Joe Berry. She is survived by her sons, Randy and wife Mary Ritchie of Nocona, and Larry Ritchie, also of Nocona, and her sister Roni Agress of Redding Connecticut. Lindy was a very active and well known member of the community of Nocona and of Montague County, and she will be deeply missed. Lindy's family is under the care of Scott-Morris Funeral Home, but no memorial service is planned at this time. Memorials may be made in her name to Solaris Hospice.
