Dolores Rae Cain Obituary

Dolores Rae Cain, 78, of Medina, NY, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the Martin-Linsin Residence, Albion.

Born on January 25, 1937, in Medina, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Lorraine (Johnson) Manning.

On July 9, 1955, she married Gilbert Cain and they settled in Lyndonville and for 17 years she worked for the Lyndonville Canning Factory. Together they moved to New Jersey, where she was a member of various clubs and drove for Meals -On-Wheels and in 1980, they moved to Medina.
She combined her love of country music and traveling, having gone to Branson, MI and Nashville, TN and was a dedicated Buffalo Sabres fan.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Gilbert Cain, siblings, her twin sister, Kae (Raymond) Heideman, Loretta (Dave) Heideman, Audrey Manning, all of Lyndonville, Tom (Dolores) Manning of Waterport, also, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and cousins.

She is predeceased by a brother-in-law, Allen Heideman and a nephew, Gerry Dix.

Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, from 11-1PM at the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 112 N. Main St. Lyndonville, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Lyle Drake officiating. Burial will be in the Lynhaven Cemetery.
