Yvonne Waldo
Yvonne Marie Waldo, 68 of Bridgeport entered eternal rest Sunday, January 29, 2017 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Detroit, MI to the late John and Mary Lou Bullock Somerville. Yvonne has been a resident of Bridgeport since 1968. She retired from RBC Bearings with thirty-seven years of service. Yvonne was a disciple of the Cathedral of Praise where she served as a Sr. Usher. Outside of the church she was a member of the Inter-Church Mixed Bowling League and served as treasurer thirty years. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Charles Waldo of Bridgeport; a son, Jamal C. Waldo of Shelton; a daughter, Yolanda Y. Waldo of DE; two brothers, Clifford Somerville of VA, and Delanie Somerville of MI; a sister, Elaine McCord of MI; a granddaughter, Amoni Knight; several nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, The family requests donations be made to Swim Across The Sound, C/O St. Vincent's Medical Center, 2800 Main ST., Bridgeport, CT 06606 in lieu of flowers.December 20, 1948 - January 29, 201712/20/194801/29/2017
