Richard R. Judy

Richard R. Judy, 80, of Newberry Twp., Etters, died Sunday, January 29, 2017, at Pinnacle Health West Shore Hospital, Hampden Township. He retired as an employee at the Bethlehem Steel Corporation, Steelton, and served honorably in the United States Air Force. Additionally, he was the owner/operator of Dick’s Radiator Shop, Etters. Born on February 7, 1936 in Elizabethtown, he was the son of the late Herbert B. and Goldie V. (Stone) Judy. Dick attended Middletown High School and was a proud member of the United Steel Workers of America, Local 1688. He is survived by his wife, Pauline M. (Witmer) Judy; two sons, Richard E. Judy of Etters and David W. Judy and wife Dixie of Preston, MD; a daughter Sharon H. Hare and husband William M. of Etters; a brother, Raymond H. Judy and wife Miriam of Johnson City, TN; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren. Grave side services will be held at 11 am on Friday, February 3, 2017 in Cross Roads Cemetery, Fairview Twp. with the Rev. Colonel Charles Yost, U.S. Army Reserve Chaplain officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
