Frederick J. McCall Lansing Passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the age of 70. Born April 24, 1946 to Alexander and Vera (Herring) McCall in Detroit, Michigan. Fred received his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in 1970. He was an engineer and the owner/ operator of DVM where he retired. Growing up Fred was big into baseball and tennis. He was an MSU fan, enjoyed the outdoors where he could camp and fish and he liked 60’s folk music. Fred also loved his Old English Sheep Dog, Bandit. Preceding him in death were his parents and brother-in-law, Dwayne Rizor. Surviving are his sons, Tony (Shara) McCall, Eric (Dawn) McCall; grandchildren, Tyler McCall, Taylor McCall, Connor McCall, Rachel McCall; sisters, Veronica Rizor, Alexis (David) Dunmire; former wife, Anita Foglesong whom he remained good friends with throughout the years; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and extended family. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service for visitation.
