Ralph Millard Logsdon, Jr.

Ralph Millard Logsdon, Jr., 75, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at his home following his battle with cancer. He was born July 13, 1941 in Norfolk, VA. He worked in retail management for over 40 years at Sears and Lowe’s and was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. Ralph enjoyed woodworking, traveling with his wife, daughters and grandchildren and spending time outdoors. He loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 54 years, Carol; three daughters, Beth (Rick) Andrews, Traci (Sam) Farthing, and Laura (Bryan) Tysinger and his eight grandchildren as well as his sister, Donna in Va Beach, VA. A celebration of his life will be held 2pm on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Fairview United Methodist church. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview United Methodist Church (3128 Osceola Rd. Elon, NC 27244) or to Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell (914 Chapel Hill Rd, Burlington, NC 27215).
