Jose O. Asturias

MONONA-Jose O. Asturias, age 82, went into eternal rest on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on Dec. 24, 1934, in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Jose was united in marriage to Margaret Ann Risgaard on Nov. 27, 1959. They have two sons, John (Betsy) Asturias and their children, Joseph, Jennifer and Megan, and James Asturias, all of Minnesota. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017. A lunch will be served after the service. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Jose's name to Agrace HospiceCare, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
