Jennifer (Jenny) Anne Schultz Panama City, Florida Obituary

Jennifer (Jenny) Anne Schultz

On January 14, 2017, Jennifer (Jenny) Anne Schultz (nee’ Peach), 87, of Panama City was surrounded by loving family as she transitioned and passed peacefully thanks to the wonderful support of and assistance by Hospice at Bay Medical Sacred Heart. Jenny was born October 6, 1929 in Amersham, England, a small village northwest of London and survived the London Blitz in 1940, but had a cousin who unfortunately disappeared during a flight mission into Germany. Her English family background includes many physicians and scientists on her father’s side of the family, including a geologist who studied the fossils in the Cliffs of Dover. These fossils, housed in a London museum, were instrumental in helping Darwin develop his Theory of Evolution. Jenny also had a suffragette on her mother’s side of the family. Jenny was a woman of strength and courage, which carried her through WWII as a child in addition to other hard times. Jenny worked in theater in London. In London, she met and married her first husband. In her 30s, she met and married her second husband, Norman Wold, and moved to California. They had two surviving children, Sandra (Sandy) Wold and Annette Hall (husband David A. Hall). Jenny met her third husband David (Dave) Charles Schultz in 1968; and they made a happy life running several small businesses in Los Angeles (Highland Park area) for ten years. They shared a love for rock-hounding, lapidary work, gardening, and the occult. In 1979, they relocated the family to Lynn Haven, Florida where they started new small businesses which included housing rentals, a shrimp boating, and running a Mr. Donut Shop near Tyndall Air Force Base. In her later years, Jenny became a minister of… and enjoyed helping others using metaphysical healing techniques. Jenny was most proud of having raised two strong and independent daughters, one of whom became a school teacher and the other became a Hospice nurse. She is survived by her daughters, son-in-law, four nieces and nephews (Shiela Lynn Matthews and Mandy Fontaine, Bob Peach, and Bill Peach), cousin Gary Peach, and five grandchildren (Aurora Wold, Logan Shire, Faith Hall, Jessica Hall, and David W. Hall). Jenny will be missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Hospice organization or to the charity of your choice.
