Funeral Services for David Lee, age 75, of Nicholson, MS, who passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017, will be held Thursday, January 19, 2017, at 3:00 pm at Old Palestine Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home. Burial will be in Old Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. Elder James McCraney will officiate the service. A native of MS, he was an Asst. Service Manager for GLORY USA INC and a member of Old Palestine Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. David was a Deacon for many years, and a member of MS Army National Guard, 890th Engineering Battalion. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He loved golfing, knife making, hunting, and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus Newton Lee and Katie Mae Ferguson Lee. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years, Helen Katherine Mitchell Lee; his son, Anthony "Brian" (Lori) Lee, Sr.; 3 grandchildren, Anthony Brian Lee, Jr. , Stephanie Briana (Jared) Williams, and Emily Taylor Lee; 1 great grandson, Greyson Samuel Williams; and his brothers, Jack (Beverly) Lee, Sr., Lonnie (Linda) Lee, Tony Lee, and Howard R. (Laura) Lee. Pall Bearers: Anthony Brian Lee, Jr., Jared Daniel Williams, Zachary Lee, Jack Lee, Jr., Marty Lee, Anthony Lee, Calvin Lee, and Barry Lee.
