Terry Burrus

Terry Burrus, 73 of Fillmore passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 5:50 p.m. at his home surrounded by his loving family in Fillmore. He was born on April 17, 1945 in Herrick, IL the son of Ivan and Hattie (VanAmburg) Burrus. He married Teresa Pugh on Septmeber 9, 2000 in Mulberry Grove. Terry worked as a foreman at Owens Brockway in Vandalia, IL and he was a member of Greenville First Christian Church. The family would like everyone to be in casual attire for the services.

Surviving are his Wife: Teresa Burrus of Fillmore, IL; Son: Chad (Kim) Burrus of Washington, IN; Daughter: Casey Burrus of Bingham, IL; Grandchildren: Sibella and Zander Tate of Washington, IN; Brother: Wendal (Betty) Burrus of Herrick, IL; Sister: Florabelle Marmor of Columbus, OH; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Sisters: Delores Burrus, Rosaline Fry, Bernadine Simmons and Glenda Burrus; Brothers: Marvin and Frank Burrus. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Allen & Sutton Funeral Home in Fillmore, IL. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ramsey Christian Church in Ramsey with Gary Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery in Herrick, IL.
