Ellen Marie Faure
FAURE - Ellen Faure peacefully passed away at the Jubilee Care Home in Foam Lake on May 4th, 2020. Ellen Marie Faure was born on January 16th, 1928 on the Erickson Family Farm, the daughter of Olaf & Maria Erickson. Ellen resided there until October 28th, 1948 when she married Lloyd Faure. They moved onto the land owned by Ellen's father and made this their family farm for sixty six years, raising their three children there. She was a dedicated housewife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She greatly enjoyed cooking and lengthy visits that usually included a crib game or two. Ellen's Swedish heritage was near and dear to her and she proudly showed this off in her thin bread making that was enjoyed by all. She leaves to celebrate her life, her three children; Ron Faure, Lois (Brian) Ilg and Ken (Lillian) Faure, grandchildren Keenan (Kristin) Faure, Ryan (Connie) Faure, Chad Cowan, Meranda (Adam) Pangracs, Shawn Faure, Trevor Faure and Janelle Faure, great grandchildren, Ryver, Abigail, Wyatt, Elena, Trace Faure, Kaylee and Kale Cowan, Skylar, Leahanne and Aedyn Pangracs. Her sister, Julia Wahl (nee Erickson), Sister-in-law Janet Hood (nee Faure), sister-in-law Mary Faure (nee Hetherington) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Ellen was predeceased by her husband Lloyd Faure, her parents Olaf & Maria Erickson, Brother Olaf Erickson, Sister Karen Blight (nee Erickson). Four brother-in-laws Enard and Irvin Faure, Joe Hood and Lester Wahl. Due to current restrictions a graveside service and interment for immediate family was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2020 at the Kelliher Lutheran Cemetery. Rev. Deacon Luanne Hrykiw officiated.
