Charles R. "Chuck" McLaughlin
Charles R. “Chuck” McLaughlin, 86, of Kiski Township, passed away, Saturday, April 25, 2020 surrounded by his loving family in his home. Born March 8, 1934 in Clarksburg, WV, he was the son of the late Herman and Nellie (Alton) McLaughlin. Chuck proudly served our country with the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked as a driver for Greyhound/Trailways for 29 ½ years and Copney Disposal for 14 years until his retirement in 2004. Chuck was an easygoing man, he enjoyed yardwork and socializing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his, 1st wife, Rosella D. (Edwards) McLaughlin- October 19, 1997; sisters, Patty and Sarabelle McLaughlin; brother, Bobby Lee McLaughlin; and a step-daughter, Michele R. Lang. Chuck is survived by his wife of 20 years, Elaine M. (Waltenbaugh) McLaughlin of Kiski Twp.; children, Dawn M. (Jeff Artman) Solomon of Kiski Twp.; Sandra Lynn McLaughlin of DuBois; grandson, Edward G. Solomon, III of Vandergrift; great grandson, Brantley Solomon; stepson, Michael Lang of Sarver; and stepdaughter, Lynette (Roger) Henson of Washburn, TN. At Chuck’s request there will be no viewing or services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 100 Owens View Ave. Apollo.Obituary
