Clara Hoffus (Fettis) passed away on April 15, 2020. She was born on May 31, 1932 on the family farm at Hight Tor. Clara married Clayton Hoffus on July 9, 1952. They farmed in the Steen area. She was an integral part of the farm operations especially when Clayton worked in the bush over winter. She enjoyed sewing, painting and crafting and loved her shopping trips. Clara’s yard was her enjoyment in the spring and summer and it was always full of flowers and solar lights. She made dozens of crabapple pies every year using the apples in her yard. Her greatest joy was her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Clara is survived by her children: Randy (Irene) Hoffus, Rickey (Diane) Hoffus and Pam (Brent) Dewan Grandchildren: Darcy (Andrea) Hoffus, Terra (Bart) Holmes, Aaron (Amber) Hoffus, Damien Hoffus, Deneen (Mike) Reed, Lanny (Rayanne) Dewan and Kelly(Joanne) Dewan Great - Grandchildren: Tristan, Riley and Emerson Hoffus; Brett, Ty and Nolan Holmes; Grace and Vance Hoffus; Makayla Cody; Steen and Ellara Reed; Damien and Meryk Dewan; Kadin and Keegan Dewan Brother: George (Fran) Fittes Sister: Kathleen Melland Sisters-in-law: Olive Fettis, Mattie Fettis, Marilyn Fittes, Margaret Hoffus, Vivian Hoffus and Reeny Hill And many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Clara was predeceased by her husband Clayton Parents: Dave and Margaret Fettis Brothers: Andy, Stuart and Jim Sisters: Frances and Ruth Parents-in-law: Charles and Selma Hoffus In-Laws: Albert Tower, Bill Salmond, Levern Melland, Larry and Pearl Hoffus, Locky and Grace Hoffus, Allan Hoffus, Robert Hoffus, Marlene and Herb Hallson, Lois and Milton Salmond, Jerry and Dena Hoffus and Alvin Hill. Due to COVID-19, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
