Patricia Rufolo

Pat Rufolo, 83, of Union and Toms River, NJ passed peacefully at home on April 8. Pat recently moved to her home in Toms River but maintained her home in Union where she resided for more than 60 years. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Pat Rufolo, a former Captain of the Union Fire Department. Together, they raised their four children in the Union home. Pat’s family was the love of her life. Throughout life, she loved to attend her children’s and then her grandchildren’s sporting events. She had an infectious laugh and absolutely loved to socialize. At 83 years of age, she was still working at Joint Meeting of Essex & Union Counties, a job she held for more than 40 years. Pat had endless energy right up until the very end of her wonderful life. She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, a loving grandmother, and a dear friend. Pat is predeceased by her parents, Ann and Frank McGrath, and her brother, Frank McGrath. She is survived by her children, Patty Dimino and her husband Larry, Karen Taylor, Scott Rufolo and his wife Chris, Mark Rufolo and his wife Elyse. She is survived by her grandchildren, Steve Taylor, Anthony Dimino, Jennifer Purpuri and her husband Tim, Justin Rufolo, Alex Rufolo, Paige Rufolo and Emily Rufolo
