Obituary – Deena Lucille Adair Deena Lucille Adair, age 56, of Leon, Iowa, the daughter of Dean Leroy and Virginia (Nichols) Mallory, was born October 26, 1963, at Max Creek, Missouri. She died at her Leon, Iowa home on Monday, March 23, 2020. Deena grew up and attended school in Des Moines, Iowa. She worked for Principle Insurance Company as a claims examiner. In 2003, Deena married Marty Allen Adair in Des Moines. They moved to Leon, Iowa in 2013. Spring was Deena’s favorite season. She also enjoyed her cat, Butters and watching television and movies. Survivors include her husband, Marty of Leon, Iowa; daughters and their husbands, Candy Tounsley and Nate of Jefferson, Iowa and Joclyn Fitzpatrick and Tim Smith of Des Moines, Iowa; step-children, Megan Johnson of Leon and Brandon Adair of Osceola, Iowa; three grandchildren, Jamie, Madolyn, and Kyah; her parents, Dean and Virginia Mallory of Jefferson; siblings, Pam Mallory of Jefferson, Tammy Gomez and Penny Bos, both of Des Moines, and Rick Mallory of Jefferson; her mother-in-law, Pat Adair of Leon; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
