Karen Arlene McGill Anderson, South Carolina Obituary

Karen Arlene McGill

Karen Green McGill, of Starr, daughter of the late Charlie James Green Jr, and Nell Ethridge, passed away at the home in the arms of her husband of 41 years, on April 3, 2020 after weeks of declining health. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth H. McGill and a daughter, Andrea McGill Rogers (husband, Kiefer) of Spartanburg, who was the sunshine of her life. She is also survived by her brother, Darrell Green, sister, Rhonda G Long, and step father, James Ethridge, as well as many friends and family. Karen was full of joy and loved to laugh. She was a very giving person and loved all of God's creation. She especially loved planting flowers and watching them grow (just like her father and mother). She was so talented in her ability to sew, knit and just making something out of nothing beautiful. Her greatest love was for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, in whom she trusted completely. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. A message of condolence may be sent to the family by visiting www.standardfuneralcenter.com THE STANDARD CREMATION & FUNERAL CENTER
