Irma Joyce Kane

Irma “Joyce” Kane, age 85 of Tinton Falls, died peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Meridian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Shrewsbury. Born in Kilgore, Texas. She resided and raised her family in Vail Homes, Shrewsbury Twp., New Jersey before she and her husband moved to Avon Park, Florida. She moved back to Tinton Falls 6 years ago. Irma was a cashier for Publix’s in Florida and enjoyed bingo, jigsaw puzzles, word searches, crossword puzzles, playing cards and going to Casinos to play the slot machines. She also enjoyed watching Dallas Cowboy football games on Sundays with family and friends. She is now in Heaven with her husband, the love of her life, where they can dance the night away as they loved to do. She was predeceased by her husband, James Kane, Jr in 2006, and her son-in-law, Robert Reinhold in 2000. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, James, III and Tonia Kane; her daughters and sons-in-law, Victoria and Jonathan Deans; Cheryl Reinhold; Cynthia and James Gordon; her niece, Joyce Gaynell Smith; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. All services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to National Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
