Salvatore A. Iradi, Jr., aka “Sally Gunz” 54, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Tuesday, March 31st at Southern Ocean Medical Center after fighting a courageous battle. Sal was born at Saint James Hospital in Newark, New Jersey and was a graduate of Holmdel High School class of 1984 where he was a district wrestling champ. He attended Fairleigh Dickinson class of 1988 in Rutherford, where he served as President of the TKE fraternity. Sals passion for real estate led him to reside in many places including Millstone, Lavallette, and most recently Toms River NJ. Sal was an avid boater and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his beloved family and dogs. He was also a successful businessman and “master negotiator”. He owned and operated Kinder University in Freehold and Jackson since 1996. Sal was married to his high school sweetheart, Karen, for 30 years and together they had 3 beautiful daughters named Alexis, 26, of Toms River, Marissa, 25, of Wall, and Melanie, 22, of Toms River. Sal is survived by his beloved parents Salvatore Sr. and Maryann Iradi of Brielle, New Jersey and Fort Myers, Florida and his beloved brother Dr. Victor Iradi of Wall, New Jersey and his wife Nina Iradi. Sal had a larger than life personality and an even bigger heart when it came to his family and friends. He was known for his quick wit, infectious laughter, his favorite saying, “It’s just another day in paradise”, and his tremendous strength and love. He was a friend to all. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to donate may do so to the Monmouth County SPCA at “http://monmouthcountyspca.org”. All arrangements are private and entrusted to the care of the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 706 Highway 35 N, Lavallette, NJ.
