Mary Kay Alvey, 44, of Rockport, Indiana passed in peace on Saturday, March 28, 2020. Mary was born on December 7, 1975 to Charlie and Alice Alvey. She was a great mother and friend. She always told her daughter, “Don’t say you can’t; Always say you can”. Mary is preceded in death by her father, Charlie Alvey; her brothers Ronnie Alvey and Lonnie Alvey; grandparents, Robert and Eunice Alvey and Forrest and Ella Tindle. Mary is survived by her daughter, Kaylee Alvey; her mother, Alice Alvey; brother, Donnie Alvey; sisters, Sandy Bryant and Angie Summers; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will take place from 12 PM until 2 PM at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Indiana on Friday, April 3, 2020. A graveside service and burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Rockport, with Pastor Brett Cieslack officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
