Richard B. "Hippi" Housel, age 69, of Painted Post, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at home. He was born on September 4, 1950 in Rochester, the son of Burton and Svea (Enquist) Housel. He married Teresa Walker on June 26, 2010. Hippi was a very likable person, he was a good cook, and he enjoyed golf. He is survived by wife, Teresa, daughter and son-in-law, Lara and Roger Lusk of Rochester, his granddaughters, Bailey and Ellanor Lusk of Rochester, and his canine companion, Abby. Richard was predeceased by parents, Burton and Svea Housel, and brother, David Housel. Due to the current health crisis, there will be no services at this time. A family gathering will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
