Joseph Smyth
Joseph Smyth died peacefully at Nyack Hospital on March 28, 2020. He was born in Cavan, Ireland on June 15th, 1929, to James Smyth and Bridget Reilly. He immigrated to New York City in 1948, and served in the military, as well as the NYFD. He married his loving wife Patricia Magennis in 1957 and settled in Pearl River, NY. He is predeceased by his wife Patricia, and their granddaughter Lila Smyth. He is survived by his caring daughters Una Smyth and Kathleen Daunais of Pearl River, sons James and Joseph Smyth, and grandchildren Fiona, Tara, Luke, Liam, Quin, Adin, Arianna, Gil, and Boaz. He was a loving brother to his 7 siblings. Private services will be held. There will be a celebration of life in the future, friends and family will be contacted.Obituary
