JONES COUNTY: Bryant Gregory Herndon, 55, of Nathan Roberts Road, passed away, Friday, March 20, 2020, at his residence. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. Mr. Herndon was born July 11, 1964, in Macon and had lived in Jones County most of his life. He was an electrician by trade and was a member of the IBEW Local #1316 Electrical Union. He loved his children deeply. Mr. Herndon loved the lake and enjoyed spending time boating and swimming. He spent from sun-up to sun-down on the water, even teaching his family the art of water skiing. He would always say "I'll pull anybody who wants to ski or anybody ridin' two boards!" Mr. Herndon had a soft spot when it came to animals, he was constantly bringing strays home to care for them. He was preceded in death by his mother: Jeanette Herndon. Mr. Herndon is survived by his children: Jacob Bryant Herndon and Randa Arlen Herndon; father: Richard Herndon, Sr.; brothers: Richard "Ricky" Herndon, Jr. and Randy Herndon and by several nieces and nephews.
