Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday March 23rd, 2020 Mrs. Emily Jane Lynch of Upper Island Cove age 93 years. Predeceased by her husband Ken, sons John, Edward and infant son Walter, Parents, David and Annie Galway, Parents in law George and Winifred Lynch, son in law Tom Whalen, Great grand daughter Krista Whalen, and 15 brothers and sisters. Leaving to mourn are, 3 Daughters Alice Whalen, Annie (Fred) Slaney and Winnie (Lloyd) Sommers. Daughters in law Dot Lynch and Christine Lynch. Grand children, Scott (Suzanne), Shane and Shawn Lynch, Noelle (Stephen), Eileen (David), Wanda (Greg) Paula (Derek), Cory (Tammy), Christopher, Stephen (Lisa), Cory (Donna), Darryl (Sarah), Kenneth (Kelly) and Amanda (John). 23 Great grand children and 4 Great Great grand children.one brother in law Selby Lynch. As well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.Visitation Tues March 24th, 7 - 9 pm. Wed. March 25th, 2 - 4 pm. 7 - 9 pm, Thurs. March 26th, 10 - 12 noon. Funeral Service thursday March 26th, at 2 pm. from St Peter's Anglican Church Upper Island Cove with Interment to follow at St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery.
