HORNBY, The Reverend Canon Muriel May 19, 1922 – March 20, 2020 Passed away peacefully at the North Shore Health Network-Thessalon in her 98th year. Predeceased by her husband The Reverend Norman Hornby and her sons David (the late Maureen), Patrick (Flora) and Christopher (Peggy). Will be missed by her children Margaret MacKay (Mel), Frances Levesque and Richard (Denise). Loved and respected by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Special Mum, Gram, GG, friend, teacher, priest and mentor to so many. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at North Shore Health Network in Thessalon and the caring community at PHARA Westwind Shores. Special thanks to The Venerable Roberta Garrett-Wilson, Archbishop Anne Germond and the congregation at Church of the Redeemer. If desired, the family would appreciate donations to North Shore Health Network Auxiliary -Thessalon Site or to Sleeping Children Around the World.
