A graveside service for Linda Pearl Mayo Holsomback will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2020 in Castor Cemetery with Reverend Walter Collins officiating under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation time will be held at Jeane’s Funeral Service from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 22nd. Linda was born January 26, 1950 in Pineville, LA and passed away March 20, 2020 in Leesville, LA at the age of 70. She was a member of Castor Baptist Church. Linda was an independent, determined lady who loved to cook for her children and grandchildren. She kept in touch with her family by phone calls and through social media. They were the most important thing to her. Linda was preceded in death by her husbands, Fred Cooley Sr. and Charles Holsomback Sr.; daughter, Bonnie Cooley; parents, Herman Ray Mayo and Arnita Mayo; brother, Reginald Mayo; and sister, Margie Neal. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Fred Cooley Jr. and wife Kayla of South Carolina; Patrick Cooley and wife Shelly of Foley, AL; Sam Cooley and wife Jerita of Bay Minette, AL; and Charles Holsomback Jr. of Leesville, LA, daughters, Laura Brooks and husband Wayne of Nixa, MO; Linda Gail Cooley of Leesville, LA; Fredda Calcote of Eau Claire, WI; and Nancy Holsomback of Jena, LA, brother, Ronnie Mayo of Lafayette, LA, sisters, Teena Garess of Leesville, LA and Nita Barnes of Lubbock, TX, grandchildren, Rose Cooley, Jaxon Cooley, Kahlee Carraway, Bailey Maloy, Winter Gay, Autumn Gay, Logan Cooley, Wesley Cooley, Kelli Cooley, Astion Brooks, Tricia Brooks, Hailey Burnett, Bailey Holsomback, Makinzi Hamilton, Landen Holsomback, Raylin Holsomback, Ashley McAlister, Arianna Calcote, Jeremiah Holsomback, and MaryPearl Holsomback, great grandchildren, Easton Carraway, Gunner Carraway, Corbin McAlister, and two on the way, and a host of extended family.
