Donald Verne Ramsey, 95, passed away on March 20, 2020 in Vancouver, Washington. He was born on September 22, 1924 to Vernon and Nellie (Pendall) Ramsey in Camas, Washington. He was a lifetime Clark County resident. He worked in the Paper Mill Industry as a Supervisor for James River Corp. (CZ) where he retired from. He served in the U.S. Army in W.W. II. He belonged to the V.F.W., American Legion, Silver Star Search & Rescue. He was an avid hiker and backpacker. He is survived by her wife, Elizabeth A Ramsey; daughter, Judith (Douglas) Olson of Florence, Alabama; brother, Richard Ramsey of Salam, Oregon; sister, Lois Darling of Vancouver, Washington, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 1 pm at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
