Randall “Randy“ Joseph Shidaker December 1, 1956 - December 12, 2016 South Bend – Randall “Randy“ Joseph Shidaker, 60, passed away after a short illness on Monday, December 12, 2016 in the University of Chicago Medical Center. Randy was born December 1, 1956 in South Bend to William and Betty (Feece) Shidaker. Randy is preceded in death by his father, William Shidaker; a daughter, Lindsay Unruh; and a brother, John Shidaker. On February 22, 2007, Randy married his loving wife, Sue (Van Lake) Shidaker, she survives along with his mother, Betty Shidaker; children, Jason J. (Angela) Shidaker of Virginia Beach, Koren Knapp of Chicago, Sarah (Randy) May of South Bend; sister-in-law, Connie Shidaker; brothers, Rick (Vickie) Shidaker of Eugene, Bud (Pam) Shidaker of Granger; sisters, Pati (David) Bauschke of South Bend, Peggy (Sandy Lehman) Prikosovich of Orlando, Vicki Carpenter of Little Rock, Cheryl Bush of Indianapolis, and Cyndi Christian of Grand Rapids; grandson, Preston J. Shidaker; granddaughter, Eliana "Princess" Shidaker; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Randy owned and operated his own construction company. He was a member of the American Legion #284 Sons of the Legion. Randy enjoyed fishing, hunting, the outdoors, and rebuilding old cars. He was a handyman always willing to help others. Randy loved his dogs, Maggie and Annabelle. Most of all, he enjoyed time spent with his family. The family would like to thank the many family and friends for their enormous support, love and assistance. A gathering with family and friends for Randy will take place 11:00am to 12:00pm Friday, December 16, 2016 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd.
