Open visitation for Dan Raymon Teel will be from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Friday, March 8, 2019 with family visitation between 4:00 and 6:00 at Wheeler Mortuary. A Memorial service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Buddy Moore officiating. Dan Raymon Teel passed away on March 6, 2019 in Clovis, NM. Dan was born in Fort Sumner, NM on February 13, 1940 to the home of Julia (Bynum) and Raymon Walter Teel. He served in the United States Army for four years. He was married to Janice Bruton from 1965 to 1978. He married Marsha Faye Holmes on November 14, 1980 in Portales. Dan was a master barber as well as a Master Mason. He was the Scout Master for Troop 18. He was an appliance repairman at Poynor's for 25 years. Dan owned Culligan and Teel Southside Laundry. Dan is survived by his wife Marsha Teel of Portales; his sons, Gary Cain and wife Tina of Portales and Tracy Teel and wife Charity of Hobbs; his daughters, Julie Freeman and husband Gary of Midland, Cindy Stone and husband Mark of Roswell, Audra Cain and husband Lee of Portales and Stacie Teel Lucero of Clovis; his brothers, Marion Teel of Portales and Wylie Teel and wife Barbara of Milnesand; twenty grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Dan was preceded in death by his parents and a son John Teel.
