Willard Bruce Morrison

Willard Bruce Morrison of Smyrna, Delaware, a.k.a. B. Booger Buddy Scrooge McDuck the 3rd, Knuckle Sandwich, Pop Pop and Chubby Buddy. Willard peacefully passed away at home on Friday, February 28, 2020 at the age of 76. Willard is preceded in death by his mother Nora, his father Lester, his brother Sonny, his sister Arlene, his niece Janice, his grandson Stephen and Walter Cooley, his best friend of over 30 years. Willard is survived by Carol, his wife of 58 years. They were married in Havre de Grace, MD on June 30, 1963. He is also lovingly remembered by his sister Lorena (Sis), his son Timothy (Debbie) Morrison, his daughter Barbara (John) Fifer, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Willard was born on June 2, 1943 in Renick, WV. He joined the Army on April 15, 1963 and was a Military Police Officer for 22 years, 6 months and 15 days. After retiring from the Army, he worked for the Veterans Hospital as a Veterans Affairs Policeman for 20 years. Willard enjoyed working on his cars and trucks, fishing, blue grass and country music, traveling (especially to the mountains) and giving "knuckle sandwiches" to his grandchildren. He also loved his devoted pups, Skeeter and Pip. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Faries Funeral Home, 29 S. Main Street, Smyrna, DE 19977 from 5 to 7 pm. Services will begin at 7 pm. Interment is to be on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 10 am at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Rd, Bear, DE 19701. The procession to the cemetery will depart Faries Funeral Home at 9:15 am. Condolences for the Family may be left on the Faries Funeral Home website.
