A memorial service for Harold “Big Al” Hirt, 65, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, September 7, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Harold “Big Al” Hirt passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015 in Cleburne. He was born March 31, 1950 in Garnett, KS to Harold Ray and Charlene Pickert Hirt. He married Debbie Farrar on September 23, 1972 in Garnett, KS. Mr. Hirt worked as a welder and pipefitter. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Hirt of Cleburne; son, Jason Hirt and wife Tammy of Benbrook; daughter, Jennifer Walker and husband Cody of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Dalton Hawkins, Jayci Hirt and Brayden Walker; great granddaughter, Elizabeth Hawkins; brother, Jerry Hirt of Kansas City, KS; sisters, Carol Wittman of Derby, KS and Sharon Flinn of Garnett, KS; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Cassi Walker.
