Joseph Edward "Butch" Hayden III, 71 passed 27 Feb 2020. He was a US Navy Vietnam Veteran. Born 12 Apr 1948 in Louisville, KY to the late Edward and Rosa Hayden. He is also preceded in death by siblings, Michael Hayden and Janice Trotter. He is survived by daughter, Anissa "Nay Nay, Muffy" Hayden (UofL alumni); US Navy Vet Schwinns Joseph Lloyd Hayden (Kelly) and JeRoy Edward Hayden (Jessie); the Love of his life Elveria Brown; step sons, Antonio Lee Dennis (US Navy Vet), and Tyrus Lamont Dennis; siblings, Harold McClain (Anna), Laverne Norfleet (Jimmy), Deborah Hayden, Wanda Mays (Lawrence); and Sister in law Katherine Hayden; a plethora of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He did not know any strangers and became "GRANDADDY " to all that crossed his path. If he had it, you could get it. He loved his Family and University of Louisville Basketball.
