Lorraine J. Preston, 84, of Keansburg, passed away on Tuesday May 19, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. She was born and raised and a life long resident of Keansburg. Lorraine was a Home Health Aid for family children services of Ocean County a parishioner of St. Ann's church Keansburg, a member of the Keansburg Columbianetts, enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Lorraine was pre deceased by her husband William in 2008. Surviving are her 2 sons and daughters in-law Rhys and Ali Preston of Minnesota and Christopher and Barbara Sheppard of California. 8 daughters and sons in-law Patricia and Raymond Rainville of Red Bank, Sharon Sheppard and her life companion Elizabeth, Lorraine Sheppard of Colorado, Sandy and Ron Ford of Leonardo, Joanne and Mickey Rudow of Florida, Carolyn Dominguez of Neptune, Audrey Sheppard of Hazlet, Pamela Preston of Middletown, Leatrice Shann of Keansburg and Jacqueline Preston of Keansburg. 21 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Family will be accepting friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:15AM at St. Ann's Church Keansburg. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted.
