WHALEY, ANNA MARGARET SPRADLIN BRYANT “GRANNA”, “ANN”, “PEGGY” 86, of Louisville, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011. Anna was born in Knoxville, TN where she graduated from Powell High School and worked at Oak Ridge. She moved to Louisville in 1947 and made it her home. Anna worked at Fawcett-Dearing printing company before becoming a registered technician at Norton Hospital from where she retired. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and husbands, Robert N. Bryant and Stuart N. Whaley. She is survived by her daughters Barbara Kaminer and Gaila Taylor; her grandsons Lonnie Kaminer and Jeff Warner; and a precious great grandson. Anna also has many nieces and nephews in Tennessee who are dear to her. This awesome and inspiring lady will be sorely missed by her family and the many friends she has made throughout her life. Anna’s funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Highlands Family Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with visitation at Highlands on Monday, August 29, 2011 from 2-8 pm. Granna always said “give me flowers while I am alive” and asked that expressions of sympathy be in contributions to Hosparus of Louisville.
