Charles C. Hazlett, age 84, of Marion, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016 in his home. Charles was born on November 29, 1931 in Marion, Indiana the son of the late Loyal and Hollie (Kaiser) Hazlett. He married Irene Sullivan on April 14, 1959, and she preceded him in death on November 23, 2013. Charles worked in production at RCA for 38 years, retiring in 1993. He was also a Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by one son, Mark Hazlett of Marion; sister, Madonna Streavel; half-sister, Bernette Doeker; grandson, Graig Hazlett; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also preceded in death by a half-brother, Allen Jack McKinney. Memorial Services and burial in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services of Grant County, Tower Suites, 305 S. Norton Avenue, Marion, Indiana.
