William "Bill" Curtsinger Obituary

William "Bill" Curtsinger, 76 years old, passed away May 18th after losing his battle with ALS. Bill was born July 29, 1940 in Walkermine, CA to Henry and Nona Mae 'Nash" Curtsinger. He was raised and went to school in Prairie Grove, AR. He worked summers in the oil fields in Texas, In 1959 he went to work for Frank & Rhine Co. he was an employee and part owner of the company till 1985. The company built and remodeled banks in the 4-state area. At that time he retired from the company to farm full-time, he raised cattle and had 2 pig nurseries for Murphy's till he was forced to retire because of his ill health from ALS in 2013. He married Erma L. Pitts January 16, 1960 in Greenfield, MO. He is survived his wife Erma, of 57 years, 3 children; Debbie Jenkins (Danny), Golden City, Mo, Carla Davis (Tim), Lamar, MO, and Henry Curtsinger (Donna), Golden City, MO. Eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Troy and sister-in-law Margaret all of Prairie Grove, AR. In lieu of flowers the family wishes for donations to be made to Bethlehem Cemetery in care of Konantz Warden Funeral Home.
