DIANA: Memorial Services for JoAnn Hendrix, 78, who passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016 in Longview, Texas will be on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, 2 p.m. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. She was born July 23, 1937 in Ranger, Texas to Henry and Iva Black. In 1984 she left Lubbock and moved to East Texas with her family. She was a woman with strong faith and loved her family unconditionally. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie Hendrix; brothers, Ishmael Black and Bill Black, and her sister, Nellie Carnes. She is survived by her companion and soul mate, Bill McAllister of Longview, sons, Joe Hendrix of Longview, Tim and Vanessa Hendrix of Harleton, daughters, Susan Bingham and husband, Paul of Ore City, Cindy and Lester Hearne of Santa Fe, Texas, her grandchildren, Chaz Bingham of Longview, Paul Hendrix of Austin, granddaughters, Shelby Bingham of Gilmer, and Holly Holden and husband Troy of Gilmer. JoAnn also had many �adopted families� over the years. They include Gail Randle, Austin Randle, Jade Randle, Jennifer Hearne, Jimmy Hearne, and Carl Hearne. The family would like to give a special thanks to Sarah Shelton for loving her like a mother, Ruthie Turner of Texas Home Health Hospice for going above and beyond to care for her, Bessie Willard for being such a devoted friend, and the entire staff at Treviso Transitional Care and Texas Home Health Hospice.
