Arlene M. Stein, 86, of Ionia, passed away, Tuesday, January 2, 2018. She was a school librarian at Ionia High School and was an organist at the First United Methodist Church for many years. Arlene was a member of the Literary Club and the Professional Business Woman’s Association. She and her husband, Warren enjoyed spending the summer on their boat, “School’s Out” on Lake Michigan. Arlene is preceded in death by her husband, Warren and her two children, William and Elizabeth. Surviving Arlene are her nieces and nephews and her friend and neighbor, Patrick (Julia) Lyons of Ionia. The Funeral Service will be officiated by Pastor Nancy Petera at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia. Interment will follow at Balcom Cemetery.
