Floretta Lawrence
Floretta "Flo" M. Lawrence Portland Age 80, passed away May 23, 2006. She was born on May 1, 1926 in Grand Ledge, MI. the daughter of George and Edith Beech. Flo was an avid golfer and bowled in the same league for 40 years. She also worked at Jeans/Fabianos Restaurant for 35 years. Mrs. Lawrence was married to Richard Lawrence (deceased) for 48 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; brothers, George Jr., Emery, Vern, Walter, and Frank; and sisters, Vera and Florence. Surviving are brother, Maynard Beech; sister, Doris Peterson; sons, Robert Lawrence, Steve (Jan Clossen) Lawrence, Thomas (Mary Ann Fox) Lawrence; five grand children, Christel Lanz, Robbie Lawrence, Kyle Lawrence, Jacob Lawrence, and Morgan Lawrence; and three great-grandchildren, Allison Lanz, Brook Lanz and Hunter Lawrence. Visitation will be on Friday, May 26, 2006 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. Services will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes, Portland. Rite of Committal followed at the Portland Cemetery.
