Jeff Boisclair

Jeff Boisclair, age 42 of Homer, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010, following injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born in JacksonCounty on September 05, 1968, he was the son of Peggy Jo Ward Boisclair and the late Richard Boisclair, Jr. Jeff was employed in the maintenance department at Alzheimer’s Care of Commerce. He was of the Baptist faith and a 1996 graduate of WorldVisionBibleCollege. Jeff served his country proudly in the Untied States Army and enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, scuba diving and most of all riding his Harley Davidson. Jeff’s wishes were to be an organ donor and his decision will greatly affect the lives of those in need. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, L. B. & Mae Bell Ward and Richard, Sr. & Guynelle Boisclair. Surviving are son, Michael Boisclair of Gainesville; mother, Peggy Jo Boisclair of Homer; brother and sister-in-law, D. J. & Amy Boisclair of Alto; brother, Terry Parson of Baldwin; nephews, Taylor and Jackson Boisclair; former wife, Dora Jarrett of Gainesville; special aunts, Shirley James of Homer and Judy Baird of Commerce. Funeral services are 6:00 pm Wednesday, November 03, 2010, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Keith Franks and Rev. Darrell Lovell officiating and full military honors provided by American Legion Post #84, Rabun County DAV Chapter #15 and Grant Reeves VFW Post #7720. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Tuesday. The family is at the residence. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Care of Commerce, 200 Bolton Drive, Commerce, GA30529. McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home of Cornelia (706/778-8668) is in charge of arrangements.
