Janet D. Schneider November 7, 1930 – February 16, 2020 Three Lakes – Janet D. Schneider, age 89, peacefully passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Rennes Health and Rehabilitation Center (Rhinelander). She was born in Milwaukee, WI where she met her late husband Fred. She proudly worked in the Milwaukee area as a union laborer in the graphics industry for over 45 years. She was very grateful to the Teamster union for providing a retirement pension for all her years of retirement. Enjoying a cottage in Three Lakes for over 60 years, Janet and Fred could not think of a better place to spend their retirement years. Simply known as ‘aunt’ to her nieces and nephews, she enjoyed ‘bumming around town’, finding a good rummage sale, and enjoying a meal at a local restaurant. Aunt was extremely grateful for the help and support she received from Loving Touch Home Care and from the staff at Rennes Health in Rhinelander. Aunt was especially thankful for the support of her wonderful neighbor Raymond Pilciner, local resident Dan Harlow, and all the wonderful volunteers supporting senior meals through ARDC at the beautiful Three Lakes Reiter Center. Aunt was preceded in death by her husband Fred, mother Marie, and sister Ione.
