Constance Jones

Constance “Connie” Jones, age 71, of Clarksville passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 in Blountstown. Born in Marianna, August 30, 1944, Connie was the daughter of the late Moses and Mary (Carter) Hill. She lived in Clarksville all of her life, was an Independent Agent of Stoutamire Insurance over ten years, and was the owner of Clarksville General Store for twenty-three years. She was a member of Travelers Rest Free Will Baptist Church in Clarksville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Jones. Survivors include two sons, Kyle Byron Jones and Kenny Jason Jones and his wife, Carla Elizabeth Jones, all of Clarksville; one granddaughter, Brandy Elizabeth Roberson; great-grandchildren, Grace Elizabeth and Jaydon Bennett; cousins, Aletta Shutes, Bill Wright, Susie Mabius, Henry Stephens, Catherine Pforte, Chanley Carter, and Ganearl Bultzer; an aunt, Ginny V. Sims and an uncle, James Carter. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 24 at Adams Funeral Home. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 25 at Travelers Rest Free Will Baptist Church and interment will follow in the church cemetery. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
