Cheryl E Franklin

Cheryl E. Franklin, 63, of Decatur, passed away Monday, January 4, 2016 at Lutheran Hospital. Cheryl was born on November 2, 1952 in Adams County to Richard C. and Berniece (Zurcher) Davidson. On July 29, 1983 she married Alan W. Franklin.

Cheryl worked for Dolco Packaging for 30 years.

Survivors include her husband, Alan W. Franklin of Decatur; mother, Berniece Davidson of Decatur; four sons, Jimi (Jennifer) Flueckiger of St. Charles, MO, Jonathon Flueckiger (companion Brandy Mygrant) of Decatur, Alan W. Franklin Jr. of Ft. Wayne and Jared A. Franklin of Decatur; a daughter, Ashley N. (companion Ryan Strickler) Mowery of Decatur; a brother, Darwin Davidson of Decatur; two sisters, Gloria (Gary) Reed of Berne and Rhonda (Mark) Eifler of Evansville; 11 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2016 also at the funeral home with Rev. Wayne Steury officiating. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery.
