Samuel Oliverio Obituary

Sam Oliverio, 68, of Garrett Street, Bridgeport, passed away suddenly on Friday evening, November 19, 2010, at his residence. He was born in Clarksburg on March 30, 1942, a son of Virginia Louise (Minard) Oliverio, who survives in East View, and the late Samuel L. Oliverio. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Samara Oliverio. Also surviving are three children, Samantha Oliverio, Myrtle Beach, SC; Jarret Oliverio, Baltimore, MD; and Rachel Oliverio, NJ; 3 step-children, Natalie Kuzbari and her husband Dr. Sam Kuzbari, Fairmont; Lujayn Abraham, AZ; and Suhip Abraham, Bridgeport; a step-grandson, Amir Kuzbari; two brothers, Joe Oliverio and his wife Bonnie, Mentor, OH; and John Oliverio and his wife Sara, Clarksburg; and several nieces and nephews. Sam was a graduate of R-W High School, Class of 1961, and received his Master’s Degree in Mathematics from WVU. He was the owner of Oliverio Financial Services in Bridgeport for over 20 years. He attended Immaculate Conception and All Saints Catholic Churches. He enjoyed watching football, gardening, golfing, fishing, and remodeling houses. Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, on Monday from 4 – 8 pm. A Vigil Service will be held Monday evening at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at 10 am at All Saints Catholic Church with Father Harry N. Cramer as Celebrant. Burnside Funeral Home, Bridgeport
