Margaret Jones

Margaret M. Jones, 87, of Enfield and formerly of Manchester entered into eternal life on Friday (August 12, 2011) at Johnson Memorial Medical Ctr. Stafford Springs surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Alois Mitterholzer and Susan Dunic Parker. Margaret was born on September 27, 1923 and resided in Enfield for the past 5 years and Manchester prior to that. She was employed for many years with Cheney Mills and also with Manchester Molding before retiring. She leaves fond memories for her loving family to cherish especially the unique games she played with children, silver dollar pancakes, wooden spoons, brooms, a good V.O. high ball, lollipops, cats & dogs, but most of all the times spent with the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Margaret is survived by her loving daughter Charlene Smith Bond of Enfield, her beloved grandchildren Dylan Bond & his wife Sandra of E. Longmeadow, MA and Carrie Temple & her husband George of Enfield and great grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Grace, James and Lila Bond. Margaret was predeceased by her sisters, Josephine M. Swider and Louise Mitterholzer. Her family would especially like to thank the staff at Parkway Pavilion and staff at JMMC, her aide Judy Aftanski and the Hospice staff of VITAS. Friends may gather with Margaret’s family on Sunday (Aug. 14, 2011) from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Funeral Service will be held on Monday (Aug. 15, 2011) at 11:00 a.m. from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels with Fr. Francis Kerwan officiating.
