Julia Cody

Julia Harris Cody, 44, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday August 7, 2012. Born February 10, 1968 in Raleigh, North Carolina to the late James and Phyllis Harris, she moved to the Dawson County area in 2010 from Gwinnett County. In October of 2011 she opened Julia’s Deli on the downtown square in Dawsonville. Surviving are her sister and brother in law, Jane H. and Thomas M. van der Meulen, Indianapolis, IN; nephew, Marcus J. van der Meulen; and niece, Miranda J. van der Meulen. Memorial services will be held Monday August 13, 2012 at 7 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Don Allen will officiate. Condolences may be expressed at www.beardenfuneralhome.com.
