Jonesboro- Sylvia Juanita Holt, 88, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born July 1, 1927 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late William “Bill” and Bernice Benson. Juanita enjoyed being with her family and cooking for everyone, family meant everything to her. She attended the First Assembly of God. She is lovingly remembered by her children and their spouses, James Dell and Ida Holt Jr. of Clinton, Tony and Carolyn Holt of Trumann, Brenda and Robbie House of Jonesboro; two brothers, Bobby Benson and Gene Benson both of Trumann; two sisters, Wanda Mae Deford of Trumann and Sharlene Flowers of Clarksburg, Tennessee; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Dell Holt Sr. and three brothers, Neal Benson, Leon Benson and Junior Benson. A celebration of her life will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. W. C. Holt officiating. Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Monday, December 28, 2015 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home. Lasting memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
