Joseph W. Jarvis Yellow Freight retiree PLANO, Texas — Mr. Joseph W. Jarvis, age 73, of Plano, Texas, passed away on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 at the Heritage Manor in Plano, Texas. He was the husband of Darleen Jarvis. Mr. Jarvis was born in Waterbury on Jan. 31,1939, a son of the late Violet Bellerive. He was retired from Yellow Freight, where he had worked in both Connecticut and Texas for many years. Besides his wife, Mr. Jarvis is survived by three sons, Don Jarvis of Cheshire, Tim Jarvis of Pennsylvania and Ed Jarvis of Ohio; two daughters, Sharon Bear of Pennsylvania and Margie Warren of Florida; one brother, Rick Bellerive of Watertown; one sister, Joan Rhodes of Windsor; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews. Joe's family would like to thank Joe Henney and Frances for their friendship through the years. Funeral services and interment were held in Plano, Texas.Obituary
