John Gary
John Mark Gary, 10, of Rutherfordton, went home to be with the Lord Monday, January 12, 2015 at his home. Born in Buncombe County, he was the son of William and Rita Ramsey Gary. John Mark was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church and a fourth grader at Pinnacle Elementary School. He had a smile as big as his heart, loved his sister Becca, soccer, basketball, his dog Brownie, and playing the piano with Mrs. Campbell. Left to cherish his memory in addition to his parents, is his sister, Becca Gary of the home; maternal grandparents, Ray and Shirley Ramsey of Rutherfordton; aunt, Lori Norville and husband Chuck; uncle, Doug Ramsey and a number of cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Delwood and Erma Gary and an uncle, Robert Gary. Funeral services will be held 2PM Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Runyon officiating. Interment will follow in Fellowship Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12PM until 2 PM in the church sanctuary prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Levine Children’s Hospital, 1000 Blythe Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28203. .November 5, 2004 - January 12, 201511/05/200401/12/2015
